Last year I ended up falling asleep before the new year and so this year Corrine and I decided we needed to plan something to keep us awake. We invited a few friends over and had a great time playing games, chatting, laughing, giggling and eating. Rummikub, Phase 10, Skipbo and a game I can't remember - it was like Catch Phrase (Michelle introduced it to us) were very much enjoyed! We even splurged and and put a log on the fire! It was fun to see so I had to take a picture. I took a picture of the group, but I can't find it - sorry! Here's to a wonderful 2009!Thursday, January 1, 2009

Hey, just found your blog through Rachel's. Terrific! Anyway, this year Alice Prater invited us over to their home for New Year's Eve. We don't usually go out, but decided to do something fun. We played a game called Apples to Apples. Very enjoyable and highly entertaining.
I just have to add that your family is always such an inspiration to me. I love you guys.
