I combined the trip with a lesson for Michelle on digital scrapbooking. She wants to put something together for her in-laws and so we spent this morning on the computer learning a few things. Zack was working from home today. He was putting two Pinewood Derby cars together. Oh, the memories. Michelle is so glad this is their last Derby.

Lori the Princess
Today is my day off from work. On Saturday when I left Palmdale I called Corrine and asked if there was any reason I needed to bring the nice camera home. Michelle wanted to take some more baseball pictures. Corrine told me she didn't have any plans for it so I left it in Palmdale. When I got home on Saturday night I was talking to Corrine and she mentioned a friend had asked her to take pictures for the Saturday, April 25th Mormon Helping Hands event. I started laughing. She had totally forgoten when I called her. Well, we needed the camera and so I drove back out today.

One perk of my visit was the chance to see Lori in her dance class. She was glad I got to watch her. They are preparing for their performance on May 16th. I will not be able to go out to it so I am glad I got a little sneak peak performance today.
They are dancing to "Let's Go Fly a Kite" from Mary Poppins. They are learning which hand to hold their kite in. It was so adorable! Gotta love those double jointed "Bird" arms!

So cute! I cannot get enough of that cute girl. I love that she wanted an all pink 'princess' kite. :)
