Today we welcomed Brad Thompsen Barlow. He is the fourth child for my brother McKay and his wife Rachel! He weighed 7 lb 14 oz. What a cutie!
Somehow we managed to get a picture of him with a little smile on his face. He definitely looks like he belongs in the family.
Corrine & I decided it was our job to let him know that it is his aunts' job to spoil him and take lots of pictures. He kept closing his eyes when the flash went off. I guess being in this family he will get used to lots of pictures. :)
When Corrine and I arrived Brad's sisters and brother were there. The doctor did his exam on him and he got the 'green light' or 'all is good' sign from the doctor. I spent some time with Mac. At 21 months old I wondered how much he understood. He kept pointing to Brad saying, "baby'. It was fun to see Mac interact with him.
We tried to get a picture of the 'Barlow Boys', but Mac was having a hard time looking at the camera. McKay proudly announced to Anna & Carly, "the score is tied"! Brad looks like McKay.
We took a profile picture for Kate & Melinda. They wanted us to remove his hat so they could see how much hair he had, etc. Rest assured, he will be as smart as the rest of his siblings - he is just as bald - and brains come before hair. :) Unlike his siblings, the hair he does have is dark hair. Maybe Rachel will get her child with dark curly hair like his dad.
I am sure there will be many more posts to follow of this cute guy, so stay tuned. I will let Corrine post the ones with her in it. :)
